UPDATE!!!!

One of my Facebook friends pointed me to Cecil Calvert Beall. You can see the same style as the Zombie Geisha (sorry, haven’t figured out who she is yet) in these wonderful paintings as well.

The Art Of C.C. Beall

Well played, sir. Well played.

*********

I won this at an auction. I’ve got no idea what it is but I like it. The lady’s skin is a lovely Romero-esque blue-green hue and she has very pointy nails. The signature looks like CC Biall but I cannot find anything about that artist on the web. If anyone has information about the artist or the painting itself, please let me know. The painting and the frame look to be pretty old and have that really old book smell. It looks like it used to be backed with paper but that has almost completely flaked off.

OMG, this is the one I’ve been waiting for! I think Dos Santos is a fantastic fighter but Shane Carwin is no joke! He can end a fight with one punch. Dos Santos is a beast though. He’s so fast and dynamic! Pretty sure he’s going to win this one.

Also just wanted to say, I hope Brock Lesnar a speedy recovery. I was so upset when I heard he was sick and wasn’t going to be able to fight Dos Santos.

Round One (10-8)
There was quite a bit of feeling out going on in the beginning. Both fighters were very patient in their striking. It was a very technical round of striking. Dos Santos was able to sneak past Carwin’s huge reach and power to snap some good jabs and an upper cut. You could tell Dos Santos had the upper hand. He is just so fast! He went ballistic on Carwin on the ground and just kept landing punches and punches. OMG didn’t see that coming! I guess Herb Dean has something against Carwin? His face is hamburger meat. How many punches did Dos Santos land flush on his face??? 20? 25? My goodness.

Round Two (10-8)
Round Two featured more technical boxing. Dos Santos picked at Carwin with stiff jabs and Carwin avoided major damage. Carwin tagged Dos Santos but he recovered immediately. Dos Santos methodically picked at Carwin with more stiff jabs and a head kick or two. What a round! Carwin apparently has a broken nose.

Round Three (10-8)
Carwin went immediately for a takedown, got it but Dos Santos got right back up. Mind you, this whole time Carwin’s face looked like a horror mask of a blood monster or something. Dos Santos continued to tag Carwin whenever he wants to. Those jabs were vicious! Man, Carwin’s face looked horrendous. Dos Santos attacked and took Carwin down. He landed a few big punches and then went back to methodically picking Carwin apart until he took him down to the mat at the end of the fight.

The judges scored it: 30-27, 30-27, 30-26. I’ve never seen that before! Oooo, and Cain Velasquez came into the ring to talk about the now scheduled title fight with Dos Santos.
